I dunno why people bother killing spiders.

If it isn't a wolf spider (aka jump in your face spider) or one that might be poisonous (usually not the case) then just catch it in a cup or something and toss it outside.

It'll eat all the bugs around your house and everyone is happy (although I only give insects one chance, if I catch it or a look-alike in my house again shortly after it's always KOS).
