Had my bike stolen by a black teenager. Mom was crying after being harrased by a group of black teenagers. Parents protested busing of kids during the 60-70's. Dad fought devils night fires for decades. We moved in 88-89.
I have a little prejudice against blacks, but individuals, nah. You rise and fall on your own. Dated a black chick, consider my self left of center.
BLM though? Institutional racism? Sure, to some small degree. But when you (and through your parents) see the blight and decay brought onto the city of detroit, its hard to move past some concepts and facts....
...like 85% of black children are born to single parents, for example.
So racist? Prejudiced? No, but its really fucking complicated.
