[WinXP]Minimal Services for bootup?

My shitastic laptop only has 2 gigs of ram and already digs into the page file as soon as it boots up (about 39 processes running) and I've already killed the dell bloatware.

So what minimal services are needed to run winxp?

This is what I used to do when I had XP:

The rest were set to Manual.

save your data. reinstall xp.

get good with an external drive and something like nlite so this process doesnt take long.

that way whenever you have an issue, you can have a new clean system up in 30 minutes rather than live with suboptimal performance and/or trojans and/or viruses. its worth doing that than every xx months tracking down some arcane bug/issue and spending hours trying to figure it out.

Definitely use nLite for any XP installs.
