thats a good salary for someone with no college education, assuming he works ~40-50hrs a week

if hes working more than that, it quickly becomes less than great.

i get paid OT at boeing, which is nice.
 
well gigz do you own a house yet? were you really planning on having kids this early? Have you tried living with your girlfriend for more than 2 years yet? I honestly wouldnt even consider that before I lived with the woman for 5 years, had a nice house and 20k in the bank ready for college but that's just my opinion on getting things ready for my offspring
 
MOST weeks I normally never work more than 50 hours per week, but some weeks I might get stuck on something and have to pull 80 hours, but it's not too often and for something like that it wouldn't just be me getting screwed over but alot of my coworkers too

no i don't own a house. we haven't found one we like yet, plus where we live is great for kids and lets us continue to save. my job is an hour away from her job at the moment so it really makes no sense to get locked into a home.

my parents are broke and i constantly pay off their debts to keep them afloat and i sent my mom on a 10k alaska trip last yr and she's going on a huge eurotrip this summer on my dime as well.

i do more for my parents than 100% of you do.

My life isn't quite so embarrassing though and I could honestly give a fuck less that yall try to find ways to flame me for living a good fun life. I have plenty of people who do that already in real life who are jealous of me.

golbez, i just ask about your hours to put your salary in relative terms.

ppl that get jobs right out of college as ibankers on wallstreet may start out at 130-140K / yr but if they have to work 80hrs a week for that salary its not really that great of a salary, esp living in NYC.

also all those ppl are unemployed now. lols.

no see i was being sarcastic because i'm not afraid to talk about my life and it doesn't really bother me when people insult it after i make fun of them for being stupid

honestly the most embarrassing thing in this thread is the realization that i think i defended golbez in that other thread for some reason
