No.. Allen Iverson started wearing his sleeve after he had surgery back in early 2000s (I think thats when it was) as they are compression sleeves that keep his arm/elbow warm. Carmelo Anthony never did until he recently dislocated his elbow. I don't know why Dwayne Wade or Kobe or whoever else has used them does other than the warm arm theory.
