Where can I get arcade roms or emulators?

I am planning to build an acrade machine, but I want to find acctual acrade game roms to use. Like Mortal Kombat 3 and such. No, I dont want the console versions. Much appreciated, thanks

theres another site thats good too, but its bookmarked at home.
im going to build a mame machine once i figure out where i can put it in my tiny apt.
