WELCOME TO "TELE"-VISION

:satan:Alexander and his younger brother, Gregory, grew up attending a private school in Connecticut. A classmate told the New York Post that Alexander seemed like just an ordinary kid, who wore non-designer clothes, carried his school books in an old briefcase, and worked in his father’s mail room over the summer break.

No ‘colonizing’ or ‘frontiers’: Snowflakes alarmed by linguistic aspects of NASA Mars probe

NASA has landed a research craft on Mars, and many are keen to see what mysteries it will uncover. Some, however, focused instead on linguistics, taking offence to words like “colonization” and “exploration.”

Many would think that things on the top of the ‘potential troubles with visiting Mars’ list would include the loss of research data. Or perhaps discovering (potentially aggressive and vexatious) alien life. But that doesn’t seem to be even a blip on the radar for some, like American astronomer Lucianne Walkowicz, who are more worried about what words are used to describe space exploration. Walkowicz told Newsweek that words like “colonization” are “not OK to use” as it “erases the history of colonization here on our own planet.”

Despite NASA having bigger fish to fry than the preferred snowflake vernacular, it seems that Walkowicz isn’t the only one worried about the ‘damage’ certain words could have. “Language is one of the ways in which we shape our social reality,” sociologist Zuleyka Zevallos from Australia’s Swinburne University also told Newsweek.

“The history of colonialism has taught us that there is no democratic way to colonize other lands,” Zevallos added. “It is about profit, and profit always marginalizes minorities.”

It is currently unclear what impact using the world ‘colonization’ will have on Mars’ minorities.

So far, some have argued that the following words should be banned: colonizing, settlement, frontier, and… exploring. If you can’t use the word ‘exploring’ to explain how NASA is ‘searching a previously unsearched new planet,’ then who even knows what terminology is snowflake-safe.

Nooses found hanging at Mississippi state Capitol
11.26.18

A pair of nooses, as well as several hate signs, were found hanging outside the Mississippi state Capitol on Monday.

The nooses were placed on trees right next to the building, according to images obtained by WLBT 3, a local NBC affiliate.

State Capitol police took the nooses and signs down after they were discovered, the outlet reported. They are currently investigating the matter.

Nooses Found Near Mississippi State Capitol Turn Out To Be Democrat 'Protest'
11.27.18

A group of nooses discovered hanging off trees near the Mississippi state Capitol were not a warning from a white supremacist group, but rather a "protest" by leftists against Mississippi Republican Senate candidate Cindy Hyde-Smith.

Mainstream media organizations melted down on Monday after a number of nooses were found hanging in the vicinity of the capitol building, strung from trees as part of a "message" campaign — though the Associated Press, which first reported the story, didn't give much more information about the "message" the nooses were trying to send, only that it was one of "hate."

Future fake hate crime committed by a black male that is a theater major? We shall wait and see...

Drake Student Speaks Out after Being Racially Targeted on Campus

Drake University continues to deal with a series of racially motivated incidents on campus. It started earlier this month when an anonymous note was slipped under the door a black student's dorm room. That student is now speaking out for the first time with Channel 13 News.

After a nearly three-week mental heath hiatus, freshman Keith Walker is back on campus and still at a loss for words.

"I'm still trying to process it. It's a lot."

Walker is from Texas and chose to come to Drake because he felt safe here. Now he fears going to class.

"It takes a lot for me to get up and go to class because the feeling of not knowing. It's so bad," he says.

The acts and rallies against hate following days of racial tension on campus proved to be healing for Walker but admits some of it felt cosmetic. The theater major is now calling for everyone to take center stage and get involved in culture groups on campus.

Fake as fuck.

Drake University officials: Four of the five racist notes found on campus were hoaxes

An 18-year-old Drake University student is responsible for four of five racist notes found in residence halls and now faces criminal charges, school officials said.

The student admitted to writing one of the notes, officials said. She also reported receiving at least one of the notes, officials said.

A Drake spokesman said officials are confident the four notes reported by the female student were hoaxes. A fifth note, received by a different student in early November, is not connected to the other four notes, now considered copycats, officials said.

The student responsible for four of the notes faces harassment charges, said Sgt. Paul Parizek, Des Moines police spokesman.

The student will also be subject to the disciplinary process outlined in Drake’s Code of Student Conduct, which may result in actions up to and including expulsion, Drake spokesman Jarad Bernstein said.

Police and Drake campus security continue to investigate the origins of the first note sent in early November to freshman Keith Walker, who wrote about his experience in a social media post. Walker has not cooperated with the police investigation, Parizek said.

5 reasons why 'A Christmas Story' is actually a terrible Christmas movie

  • Guns
  • Getting stuck to a pole - pain.
  • Female leg is oppressive to women across the world.
  • White male retelling the story of his privileged life.
  • Bullying

Surprised the author used the word Christmas. Fucking Christians in Denmark had to have a police escort just to openly celebrate a Christmas festival because the DirkaDirka's and Marxists were surrounding them, ready to kill.

Looks like we are almost ready to start feeding Christians to the lions again. Progress people... Jewish progress.

Get Woke, Go Broke? DICK'S Sporting Goods Warns Investors That Decision To Get Rid Of Guns Cost Company Dearly

Dick's Sporting Goods is warning investors that its decision to remove certain "assault-style" weapons from its Field & Stream stores cost it dearly and may limit its future gains.

The sporting goods retailer was forced to confront angry shareholders late last week after its stocks tanked more than 4.5% and financial conglomerate J.P. Morgan Chase downgraded Dick's shares, from "overweight" to "neutral."

"Gross margin-driven upside appears less probable given 3Q's performance, changing comparisons, and rising inventory levels," an analyst for J.P. Morgan told CNBC. The same analyst noted that same-store sales for Dick's outlets are expected to grow less than 1% even as the company's inventory rises.
[.....]

Dick's says it can trace the downturn not just to an overall retail downturn, but also directly to its decision to take action on "gun control," banning the sales of "assault-style" rifles at its Field & Stream affiliated retailer and discontinuing any gun sales to people under the age of 21.
[.....]

But while Bolitsky didn't come out and say it directly, it seems that Dick's' decision to cut down on its gun sales had an impact in other areas of its business. Gun owners and pro-gun consumers may not be ale to buy their guns from Dick's any longer, but they also seem to have made the conscious decision not to trust Dick's as an outfitter for any of their other needs — particularly their hunting needs.

Dick's has seen a decline in sales of its hunting gear overall — such a decline that they're considering removing hunting and outdoors equipment from all of their stores in order to boost their bottom line and cull some of their excess inventory.
[.....]

I imagine there were many people in the company who knew it was a bad idea and guessed what would happen, but said nothing because they would have a target on their back.

The outcome of gun enthusiasts not buying anything else is completely predictable.
