I'm going to be in chicago in a couple months. what is there to do in chicago?

will I really get beat up if I put ketchup on a hotdog?

there is tons of stuff 2 do here it is world-class city.

what kind of shit were you hoping 2 do

I'm going to go to a cubs game. probably eat at a few places.

I need to look at museums and see what's around.

probably go up to the top of that tall building and look down. I've wanted to do that since 1986.

alright honestly wat r u lookin to do see

art institute is good
john hancock signature lounge for the views (better than sears tower)
lincoln park
grant park / millenium park

i would walk around probably lincoln park its a walkable wealth neighborhood

for out of towners going to bars nightlife, since you claim your older you probably like

river north hubbard st., old town (second city and many bars)

cubs game is required and hit all the bars on clark but its a very touristy/collegey up there at times

dont waste money on willis tower, just go to the bar at the top of the hancock

same view and the drink is like $12 but at least you get a drink and save $

if u want to be hip and shit you can go to west side which is like our version of brooklyn

wickerpark/bucktown is the "hip" areas and still safe and close to downtown

but you'd like lincolnpark/lakeview(wrigleyville)

yeah sears tower is a scam now it charges a lot the view is not as good

john hancock you can go up to the lounge and the ask you to buy one drink which is expensive but the view is better and the drink is still cheaper than sears tower trip

all in all john hancock is WAY nicer experience then ghetto willis tower skydeck, hancock is pretty ritzy on the top signature lounge

for museums they are all good and museum campus is all close together but if your limited on time art institute is a must, the new modern wing is amazing and that is our best museum by far

the other museums on the museum campus are solid and close together aquarium / planetarium / science museum / natural history museum

i would also consider doing a river boat architectural tour of chicago it sounds cheezy but is super fun in the summer

shopping on mich avenue if you want to do that other tourist shit
