Video Software? Fraps and Sony Vegas still on top?

So its been ages since I have recorded any gameplay in which I used Fraps. Is there anything else out there now a days that is better? I wanted to try and just give myself a side project when bored to record and make some vids for youtube just for shits, dont really care if I get views.

And I assume Sony Vegas is probably the best way to go as far as movie editing (obviously not on a mac)

Anyone use anything else?

Oh nice, but my gpu isnt high enough, crap haha. I wonder if my 560 will be enough to use it anyways

What kind of systems are required to run stuff like this while having high/ultra graphics?

Dxtory is the new "Fraps" from what I remember (it's been a while since I've recorded anything).

You'll have to go to the "store" to get the full version, just like Fraps (at least I think so).
