Tribes 1 not working after installing SP2?

yeah, ok. just got my new computer and decided to fire up the game last night and give it a shot again. it worked fine, and then today, decided to install SP2...tribes 1 now kicks me to desktop when i join a server and click to spawn. it lets me connect and all, just wont let me spawn.

im running onboard GF mx400 (lol) with latest nvidia drivers.

is SP2 the problem? just wanted to see if anyone else had the same problem before uninstalling SP2 haha

maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling after having sp2 installed. if that doesn't fix it then i guess that sucks then.

edit: also maybe try same thing with latest video drivers

haha tribes 1 wasnt installed, i just copied it over. its worked like that for years.

after i installed sp2 i got a rash and my microwave stopped working...
