I have been gaming on a 17" Gateway monitor since 1998 and it finally broke. I'm in the market for a good LCD, but not a 350-400 + dollar one. This one looks good, I have never heard of the brand though.

from the specs it looks pretty solid, the reviews seem good. But i have noticed on every monitor there are some bad reviews regardless of what it is. Someone usually seems to get unlucky with ghosting, or dead pixels, etc. Having no experience with LCDs it makes me nervous choosing one. I wanna make a good buy and pray it doesnt cause any problems.

Does this have any obvious signs that say i shouldn't consider getting this?

I know dell 2005FPW are pretty solid but it is a tad out of my price range without any good ebay rebates or coupons atm.

edit: Also this one looks good too, but about 80 more

also this confuses me. The viewsonic says 8ms gray-to-gray (avg.); 16ms white-black-white (typ) . but the naga has only 8ms in general. so does the naga have 16ms w-b-w and it just doesnt say ? or does naga have 8 on both..
i cant decide halppp
