the whole event felt try hard, imho. i chuckled maybe twice the whole show and skipped kanye and miley cyrus. why the fuck were these people on the show to celebrate its 40th anniversary? so many other good musical artists would've been a better choice. the eddie murphy thing was just awkward as fuck. even chris' intro made me cringe.
