finally, we can tell the difference between numbers and letters. O and 0, G and 6, and I am sure there are others.

Megathron megathron in a dish. How much tracking do you wish?

Maybe the difference in fonts is cleartype vs no clearytype

I can tell the difference. Numbers are slightly (like 1 pixel) smaller than letters, also numbers appear more boxy and squished versus letters.

I heard on eve-o that to remedy the chat window lag, the channel admin has to open up the chat settings and simply hit 'OK' and it solves it. The only problem with that solution is chat admins are lazy.

As for spaces and what not, I didnt notice that. Will check it out when I get to da crib.

Well this patch certainly has enhanced my playing experience :)

Love the font, too bad the overview settings were erased.

And the game seems to run much much better now :)

You are #4 in queue for S-U8A4.

Um, what?

Should read "You are #4 in queue to get podded."

Ya this is a great idea in 0.0

It probably limits how many people can log in at a given time in a system. It sucks for people in empire but people in 0.0 won't be affected. The only thing it will affect in 0.0 is log in traps.

Negative. People are experiencing this in low-pop 0.0 because that particular system shares a node with a busy empire system.

I don't care either way. Just a ship loss. However, I find it funny how much stuff CCP "forgets" to put in their patch notes.

This is on a gate, in 0.0. Warp to gate, go to warp in and haaaaay you can't do that right now. It gives you the same message on login, but it also queues you on the jump ins. Gatecamps just got alot easier if it keeps up like this.

Open up your map and view "traffic advisories". When you mouseover you'll see where people have to wait to jump into a system. If a node is "full" which according to CCP is 95% load or 600 players, you have to queue to get in. If your 0.0 system is linked with say, Jita, you're hosed. This means you could jump to a gate and be forced to sit at the gate until your "turn" is up. I've heard reports of 15 minutes plus and still not allowed to jump into a system. As you can see, sitting outside of the last gate of your pipe running in 0.0 when you know gatecamps are common, is not exactly a great situation to be in.

If you want cheap ganks, just check the map for wherever there's a queue in 0.0 and sit on that gate with some friends. Can even ditch the web since they can't even jump if they make it to the gate.

It also makes shutting down a system alot easier. You could throw 100 guys in a system and effectively bubble camp the gate with 10 players since they'll just be coming through the gate one at a time.

I'm going to assume it's temporary or it makes traveling in 0.0 as well as "fleet" battles pretty moot.

Uh I think thats only for autopilot. You should be able to manually jump. It was like that before the patch too. Unless this is totally different from that. I travelled over 15 jumps last night on ap with no stalls.

It has nothing to do with auto pilot. If you insta to the gate, you will still be sitting with your thumb up your ass while some gate campers pod you because you are #5 in the queue to enter your 0.0 system. Nobody was having the problem before today, they even made a post that they had originally had the wrong thresholds on so that the majority of systems were being queued this morning. Supposedly if you just jam the jump button it'll let you in if you're lucky, but there's no confirmation if it works reliably.

The exact message is "[system name] traffic control: You are #x for jump in."

You also can't login to a system thats 'full'. So you'll be stuck waiting to log in for god knows how long if you happen to be sharing a node with the wrong hub.

There's a thread: http://myeve.eve-online.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=382867

You'll see some TCF members have stated that Venal has a queue similar to what we're seeing in Syndicate. Back systems with < 10 players can't get in. It's more than likely because they're sharing nodes with other hubs, which is ridiculous in the first place since JQV regularly holds over 200 pilots and would make no sense to be put on the same node with an empire hub.

Other alliances that have seen how blobbing could take advantage of this have posted in the thread also confirming the functionality of this "feature".

If XZH was an indication, it only takes 200 pilots to make a node hit 95% which is enough to turn any pos war into a single file rape train at the gates. Not to mention you wouldn't be able to log in to defend once the system was 'full' even if you were in the system.

After dealing with this all night while running missions it's really fucking stupid. Why I have to wait in a queue to jump into a system with 10-30 people all while staying in the same constellation is beyond me. Camping a gate was ridiculously easy.

When you try to jump and it's full, you'll get a message saying your queue number. Now you can leave and come back, so it's possible to SS or dock and wait out your timer. However, anyone with a scram or bubble is going to cut your party short. When your time is up to jump, you have 3 minutes to get to the gate and jump through or when you try to jump you will be dumped to the back of the queue.

Running a pipe in an industrial is like rolling the dice if your constellations are on shitty nodes. Atleast this explains why syndicate is shitty 9/10 of the time, apparently it must share nodes with Jita and Ours at the sametime or something retarded since 3/4 of the system had queues throughout the night.
