In my "alliance" tab I've never seen anyone in there when I've been logged on. Which is why I asked.

Alliance chat is set not to show anyone until they say something. Chances are there are a bunch of people in there but no one's said anything since you logged on.

so.... at work, we FINALLY launch version 1.1 on Monday, if all goes well. I should be back playing shortly there after. I have absolutely no clue when my Battleship 5 is supposed to finish, but it's gotta be close now.

Given the fact that we're a month late, I'm not counting on that promotion any more, but at least I'll have my evenings free again.

I h8 hull upgrades 5. Been staring at that skill for over a year, cant bring myself to train it.

In CCP's defense, they're not only Icelandic and speak perfect English, they have a solid game, and they can never top the fucked up releaser of Anarchy Online, the most disasterous release (even more so than WWII online, and that proggie didnt even start up for most)
