Looking for a tablet that isn't a lot of money that has Android system.

If it can tether to phone too, I'm ok with that. Looking to use it as an ereader too while on the go.

I know lots of you guys have experience in this area.

Thanks.

work gave me a Cruz or whatever. It lets me change the aperture on the CO2 jets, and a bunch of other bullshit, right from here. Being able to jack off to lesbian porn in one window, while managing alkalinity of the second carb filter in another. . is like really weird, and really awesome all at the same time.

Anyway, I have this cruz thing, it lets me access the entire panel at work, make adjustments, all of that. . I could do the same thing with my laptop, but whatever. I don't have a telephone, so I guess if they want to bother me while I'm running, they can.

SO. . it has web access, obviously, can get email, It can read books or something, I haven't tried yet, and can play movies. What is it you really want from one of these? To be honest, my own life is actually more complicated, as stupid people now have an avenue to ask me stupid questions.

New Device Desirable, Old Device Undesirable | The Onion - America's Finest News Source

[QUOTESEATTLE—With the holiday shopping season officially under way, millions of consumers proceeded to their nearest commercial centers this week in hopes of acquiring the latest, and therefore most desirable, personal device.

"The new device is an improvement over the old device, making it more attractive for purchase by all Americans," said Thomas Wakefield, a spokesperson for the large conglomerate that manufactures the new device. "The old device is no longer sufficient. Consumers should no longer have any use or longing for the old device."

Added Wakefield, "The new device will retail for $395."

Able to remain operational for longer periods of time and occupy a demonstrably smaller three-dimensional space, the new device is so advanced when compared to the old device that it makes the old device appear much older than it actually is. However, the new device is reportedly not so radically different as to cause confusion or unwanted anxiety among those familiar with the feel of the old device.

"Its higher price indicates to me that it is superior, and that not everyone will be able to afford it, which only makes me want to possess it more," said Tim Sturges, owner of the old device, which he obtained 18 months ago when it was still the new device. "I feel a strong urge to purchase the new device. Owning the new device will please me and improve my daily life."

"It's difficult to remember how I ever found enjoyment in my old device," Sturges continued. "It is no longer appealing to the eye."

In addition to aesthetic and technological enhancements, manufacturers claim the new device comes equipped with a wide range of desirable features, including fewer buttons for pressing down and holding; a new wire for connecting to larger, less-portable devices; and fewer device-related errors and frustrations.

I am also looking for a tablet, prolly gonna get kindle fire when it hits european markets.

Kindle Fire sounds like your best bet seeing as you want to use it as an e-reader and it's kind of geared towards that while still being Android. I'd be getting one if it weren't for the fact this generation is almost certainly never coming to Europe.

the nook tablet is a much better deal than the kindle fire. They are pretty easy to root and like double the specs of the fire for only $50 more.

I have the Motoral Xoom. I absolutely love it. I use Nook with side loaded (converted from PDFs) Ebooks. I tether to my phone, I bought a styles that goes along with my notebook so i can use on either my phone (Droid X) or my Xoom.

I think the Transformer is a good route though also. It depends on what outputs you want. The Xoom from what ive used it (in class or on the road for work) has been outstanding. I heard the second iteration of the Transformer (Optimus or something) is going to be good also.

Nook + VPN Access + Tether to the phone (either root access or pay for the service) and its on fire.
