Shin splints suck

Got them bad as a young infantryman. Suck it up and drive on.

Sucks, same here. Marching with 70 pounds of gear on for 10-15 miles sucked, but the worst was the 3 mile full gear "battle-march" aka jogging the whole way in 100 degrees. Stretching and icing only go so far, and really the only way to heal is to stop doing what aggravates it.
 
They do. I had shin splints for almost 2 months while running and road marching almost everyday. I'm sure Reno and Federereder have similar stories.
