Maybe it'll invite over its other octopus peeps and they'll have a have an underwater shark bbq pool party.
The beak is small but it is powerful. With a dead shark he can pick and tear chunks of flesh off until he's satisfied and leave the rest. In the wild it'd probably have a harder time holding onto it, but with no other predators in the tank he's free to gorge.
Don't fuck with squid/octopi. Even the largest of octopi can squeeze themselves through a hole as big around as a quarter.
