At least seven people have been killed in a shooting spree across two towns in the southern US state of Alabama.

Officials in the town of Samson say the gunman is among those who died. It is unclear whether he killed himself or was shot by police.

Reports say the gunman started firing at a petrol station in Samson. Five people were also killed in a caravan.

There were further fatalities in a shop in the neighbouring town of Geneva, police told Reuters news agency.

Because we don't care. Either rednecks or black people died. I say it is a good thing either way.
 
It's Alabama. This isn't any different than hearing about seven people being shot to death in Indonesia. Nobody in real America gives a shit.
