esgato and I were fully prepared to pop those cans if someone came back looking for their loot.

Sucks for the guy that lost billions because he got stabbed in the back. We totally just hapened to be at the right lace at the right time.

And to think that inept huzzah fleet esgato and I started out the night harassing ended up popping that 3rd hauler.... :(

Is that all you do? Is talk shit?

Before you start talking shit about how "inept" that other guy / group seems to be, why not claim a section in space and see how long you last.

At least BOB has the fucking balls and brains to hold off a section in space yet call on the entire eve.

Don't give me "alliance is too hard to run, when all I want to do is PVP"

Keyword: BOB.

blitz not sure where the rant from the start of your post came from, but for this part I will say this:

I too felt the same way when I started eve... but then you realize that even a 25 millions killpoint character can lose to someone who has 4m. The thing is, that skillpoints do not always = skill for the ship they are flying. Plus, there is a drop off where once base skills for the ship you are flying are maxed, you will be just as good as someone else who has the same skills maxed but has 15m more skill points then you mixed in other things.

Thats the best thing about eve for me, is that no matter who you are, how many sp's you have, people still can fuck up and and its still possible to take down someone who has been playing for years with the right tactics and training.

not to mention that like in my situation, my wife is finishing school in SD, I am in Phoenix working and she will be in town for two weeks while we look for a house. I wont be on at all during that two weeks but yet I can still log in for 2 minutes set a skill and even though I will not be progressing with wealth, my character will still be growing. Thats something I could never do in eq/eq2/ or daoc.

It's not a rant, I just can't believe how serious some people take this "game" I guess.

I guess in regards to SP, I didn't think about specialization as much, being a newb. I thought you need to be able to pilot a variety of ships to do well.

No matter what, there is still a grind of sorts, in order to PvP, you need to have an income to support the component and ship loss, is PvP even profitable or you rely on mining/mission/manufacturing for income to support your PvP habit?

I intend to PvP, but first train learnign grind, now I am tempted to go for some bpo lottery (since I trained science to 4 already in order t use tractor beam and I also got a variety of skillbooks from agent offer and loot)...it seems my departure date to 0.0 keep on getting delayed....

He was not talking about all of Huzzah, he was talking about one small group of Huzzah players that we commonly engage in the HED pipe. We warped in 2 BS and 1 AF at range against about 10 of them, jumped in a bait T1 cruiser from the Keberz side, and popped a few before they could run away. That they fell for an obvious trap, and sat on the gate long enough to lose a few ships when they could warp at any time, certainly qualifies as inept in my book. Hell, if it were one of my guys getting popped, I'd be laughing at them too.

As far as claiming space, we could join any alliance at any time and have just as much claim to space as you do. We have somewhere around 30-40 active members at best, and don't need or want more, so forming and alliance and claiming space isn't going to happen. But that isn't fun for us anyway, we prefer to roam around to enemy space and blow shit up, instead of having to run POSs and mine and spend hours hammering out politics. We pick our targets at a whim, and sometimes we win, sometimes we lose, but we always fight if it's not complete suicide (although that doesn't stop us either sometimes).

I gave up mining its too boring. Pirating doesnt make much money since I do not ransom I just like to kill, and 0.0 ratting, why fight rats when you can kill players.

so what do I do? I found a new niche.. in involves 2 accounts and it takes about 4 months but when you are done you end up with about 900-1b. Thats good enough for me since I only fly tech 1 / 2 frigates.

I am going to give you guys a good secret though, and if someone here has been doing this, please do not spread it around good easy money making schemes can be hard to come by but ill share with my ebuddies and I am not sure honestly how many people know about this because every system I have found no one has been doing it.

There is certain 0.0 - low sec systems where you can Buy from NPC corp, and in the same SYSTEM sell to another NPC corp of different faction for double what you paid for it.

thats right. You get double what you paid, and you warp from station to station. As through the day you keep doing this the prices will lower until the sell price is the same as the buy price but the great thing is, it resets at server start. we have a freighter and make about 40m each a run that takes about 10 minutes total and about 250m starting capital you can get started with less you will just net less per run, and no I will not tell you where to look or where I am =P

I wanted to add, for those of you who do not mind doing this with an alt in a battleship /wink you can still make a good few million in a play session just running back and forth filling up your cargo

some of the most successful people in my old alliance were guys who spent 2 years in high sec before even touching 0.0. Running missions learning the game, building finances. When you get to 0.0 its real easy to lose a lot of money, so coming here with a bank roll is a great idea.

get a life you inflammatory loser

Leave it to a total dipshit like you to not know the difference between a single corp and an alliance.

We are a corp, BoB is an alliance. Alliances have several corps that take care of various things an alliance needs. You know what BNC.E is, right? Not all of BoB are PvPers, stupid.

Why don't you go quit your current group just to join another and then toe their party line? Sounds like you want to hop on over to BoB now. Better get those sucking lips ready. I'm sure they can use your mining skills.

I'll say whatever the fuck I want. I don't want to own space. I'd rather kill losers like you that take a game so seriously.

You know where to find us. Come get us if you can leave your mining barge for a few. That and if you actually got the stones.

Oh, and what Mav said.

Have a great day :D

Ron from Ronco has the perfect tagline for this game, "Set it and Forget it."

I know the difference between a single corp and alliance. And I do not want to join BOB, it's not what I want to do.

And I don't take this game "so seriously". lol. Wow. You get so defensive.

What I am pointing out to you is that while Huzzah has to worry about mining, taking care of their space, making money, and getting better, and when the only thing you have to worry about is killing, it's a different game.

You are boasting about how Huzzah is "inept" when you can't even do all things at once (Making isk, guarding territory that is actually claimed, putting up pos's for soverignty and for making resources).

As far as taking the game seriously, chill the fuck out. I am not the one here who is hated by most of TWar in this forum because they can't control themselves. At least MAV gave a non-flaming reply.

We're perfectly capable, we just don't want to do it. In our few months in IRON, we were one of the few corps that were meeting all of our POS and mining obligations, while also showing up for fleets.

There's nothing difficult or challenging about running a POS, it just takes time and effort we would rather spend on other parts of the game.

When you're out on a op, you're not mining, or defending, or running POS's. You're out to kill and if a group of inties can't take out a sniping Raven, there's some wrong there. The only reason they had to not zerg rush is if they really were setting up that group of haulers. We stole that from them anyway if that was the case.

Just a few points:

1) We've held soverignty, played the POS game, did moon mining, and still PvP'd. When we're out of isk, we mine to make more. You really don't know what we've done or what we do.

2) I never said Huzzah is inept. I said the pilots we encountered in a single corp in Huzzah are inept. Learn how to read.

3) A handful of people with a hardon for me is not "most of TWar." Not that I really care what some retards that barely know how to read think about me, anyway.

It's a game, and the forums are here for a good laugh, so lighten up a bit. You're the one that jumped on my nuts to defend your old alliance, buddy.

See you in space. :)

Cuda we encountered that same group about an hour before you came into the picture. ESGATO and I were able to stick around for 10 minutes at a time taking potshots at them, when all they had to do was bumrush us.

I don't know if they were incredibly uncoordinated, or if they were afraid to lose their frigates or what, but no more than one at a time would approach us. As soon as gato jammed them they warped off, and then the next one approached.

They literally had 10 AF/Intys. All they had to do to get rid of us was to bumrush us. Inept FC? Afraid to take losses? Who knows?
