I bought my father a 6-month sub to Paleopax for father's day... he's on a bit of a health kick, so I thought that'd be nice. New stuff every month.

Sometimes you get into "shopping routines" and having stuff sent to you to try is a pretty neat idea. I might do a cheese or wine one or something.

Any other cool ones out there?

After looking at about 10 of these services for my parents' gift, I saw generally prices of $18.95-$29.95/mo. The more expensive ones were the food ones.

I guess it depends on your need, but I think it's pretty cool that, say, every month I'll get a box in the mail with 3 new types of jerkey, or cheese, or an assortment of hippie natural organic food from brands you otherwise never would have heard of.

:shrug: just cool to throw some randomness in once in a while.

If I lived in a city and worked ridiculous hours, I could see the benefit of getting shipped new underwear/undershirts/socks/lotion/shaving stuff every month.
