[Purchased] New Video Card

Purchased EMPIRE: TOTAL WAR yesterday.

My video card was* a BFG 7800 GTX OC 256mb PCI-e.
The game was barely runable on anything higher than Shader(low) when you looked to the horizon.

So I purchased a Sparkle GeForce 9800GTX+ 1GB card. The gain was substantial! I can run the game on 1440x900 All High/ULTRA, no AA/AF. Checkmarks on all options besides Vertical Sync.

I have not tried L4D performance yet, but I was already running HIGH/ and MED on one option, and was getting 50+fps
 
how much wuzzit?

*note: I have the 7900 gtx now...

Also: how much of a pain in the cock was it to get rid of the old GForce drivers?
 
BFGs are pimp b/c of the lifetime warranty
My next card will definitely be BFG too. Had to have my last one replaced once and the whole process was quick and easy
