I tried it with a Handspring Visor and one of those folding keyboards. I hated it and gave up on it. The problem was that setting up was too much of a pain.. You had to have a flat surface for the keyboard, firm enough so the PDA could seat itself in the stand properly, and in the case of hte folding keyboards, that just wasn't really doable..

I think it'd be easier with a small laptop. It'd be about the size of a book, and you just open it, and don't need to worry about the surface or plugging A into B, and maybe even futzing with enabling the driver...

Asus A620BT > HP 4000 series > 1945 > 2215 > 5555 > Axim

the 5000 series is a waste of money because it's just thee 2210/5 with biometrics. It isn't faster or better at graphics because the number is higher

The only thing the Ipaq 5555 doesn't have is Compact Flash, it's 400mhz, Biometric, 803.11b , 3.8" 240 x 320 16-bit color transflective TFT LCD, 128meg SDRAM, and a 48 meg flash rom.

axim is (or at least was when i got mine) by far the best bang for buck. if you wanna pay more for less, it's your right as a consumer.

There is no way in the features that a 1945 is better than a 2210/5
