how the hell did you get those on the ares? Is it like the time when my NOS's had hybrid charges loaded?

Probably-- I had had my battleship selected, then I had accidentally dragged my t2 shuttle (the ares) on top of or over or something... and the result was as you saw above. It was purely graphical--they weren't listed on the ship itself--and when I left station it disappeared.

And everyone says CCP's startup glitches are all bad.

You can do that with any ship actually... offline guns show up on the ship model, so you can stick whatever you want on there as long as you don't try to undock (it won't let you.)

I want to see someone put dread guns on a frig.

I had this happen in reverse once... I went from a Mining Barge to a Battleship... and my Tempest had strip miners attatched to it. Wierd.
