Collision investigators were called to the scene to try to determine the cause of the crash. SQ Sgt. Christine Coulombe said it's unclear if speed was a factor.

I really have to question people's capacity for logical thinking...

How is it possible that the car was totaled from it sitting in one spot? slim to none.

Unless another car, truck, van, airplane, and/or train hit the car. If such were the case the previously mentioned vehicles that would have hit the cruiser would have to be traveling at a decent pace... usually people call that speed. So therefore speed would have to be involved in the cruiser being totaled at least in one regard or another. Unless the car was so poorly constructed that it self imploded.
