.pdf to work converter?

I don't think this is possible by principle but I'll give it a shot anyways. I would like to find something that will convert .pdf documents into word. If this is not possible, like I suspect, is there a good cheap .pdf editor? I know that acrobat is capable but I need something more feature rich.
I work for a law firm that does a lot of paperwork. I'm looking for something that can fill in multiple fields at once. Hope all this makes sense.

I could have googled it, but I was hoping someone here had first hand experience with the software rather than just picking one out of the hat.
