I'm arriving to NYC in a couple hours to meet up with a friend who is flying in from Germany. Any suggestions on quintessentially St. Patty's Day things to do/see/be/drink?

Also, given the weather, I'm not really sure how this has disrupted the parade, so any thoughts shed on that would be appreciated.
