I'm replacing my front speakers with smaller bookshelf speakers, preferably some with a built in amp like the infinity overture 1s. Any suggestions. Under 2000 is the price range.

I don't want a sub in the room, so the overtures would be great if they still made them.

I'm using these on my TV at the moment. They sound incredible but they're a little annoying in that you have to switch them on/off all the time (manual rocker switch in the back, both speakers) and the remote control is a little finicky (IR rather than RF).
HiVi has several other (cheaper) models if that's what you're looking for.
