New good metal bands?

I typically pick more guitar oriented stuff to listen to as I love the weedly weedly's :) I been streaming the new Berried Alive stuff a lot.

ever since dio died it's been a pretty gay scene

heliotropes was an alright one but i don't do this fruit stuff where they sing about viking fairies and gnomes in little forests from history
 
dunno about new bands, most everything seems to be metalcore or deathcore or whatever these days. I just stick to the established stuff. Rotting Christ, Immortal and Behemoth all released albums relatively recently
 
Is it too much to ask for 80s thrash/speed metal like Metallica, Megadeth, Testament? Seems like all any new metal bands are interested in doing is some goth opera style bullshit or death metal where the vocals are just inaudible growling into the mic.
