Need help picking out motherboard/cpu.

Friends PC took a dump. He has a P4 1.5

I just wanna replace whatever he has relativley cheap. Not really looking to upgrade very much but dont see many of these 1.5's around. It doesn't have to be a really nice MB either. Just something to get him running again. Guess I'll be needing to order ram too.

What can I expect to pay MB/CPU and about 256megs of Ram?

Any suggestions welcome.

He's just to get real input from real gamers, who know hardware...

They have extensive reviews on mobos procs, heatsinks vidcards, memory, etc.

You can read technical reviews and benchmarks on just about any piece of hardware worth buying.
