my lab finally upgraded to an n-router

and my speed just went through the roof. even though the router is 2 rooms away. i think its time i upgrade my home router

for some reason, i remember some of the mac/pc arguments, when mac fanboys were touting wireless n being standard in macs and pc lovers (re: data) mostly argued back with

.11n is fucking meaningless.

i'll just say this -- i'm glad my mbp from a year ago came with wireless n

You're probably moving data around your school network at 10-100-1000mbps

At home you're probably downloading from your dsl at < 2mbps

N is going to speed up your pc to pc transfers, and you might get better range, but thats about it.
