my internet is messed up

Two days ago my internet started to have problems. I have Cox cable, and a couple days ago, the modem lost connection. It only had the power light on and the PC light but not the cable one and it did not have data being transferred. At first I thought it wasn't a big deal, I unplugged the power and plugged it back in, resetting the modem. Then it happened again. This has happened many times now and it seems to happen about a half an hour after I reset it, maybe earlier. Anyone have any ideas?
 
The cable modem is most likely overheating. Probably gonna need to replace it.

What brand/model is the modem?
