family dog. she was a golden doodle named chili. 2 years old.

just went for a 6 mile hike on webster cliff trail yesterday. she usually bombs it down steep rugged hiking trails, basically rock climbing...but today she went for a small hike with my mom and tried to jump over a hole or gap or something and hit it straight on.

broke her back and her spinal cord.

it's weird actually

I'm 100% not a dog person, cant stand the smell, attitude and general mien of a dog

but after having jack around, and having my stepgrandmother visit with her champion golden retrievers, I'm a massive dog fanboy

again, I'm sorry for your loss bro :( hell knows that I got sad as fuck when my kittie dide

although as most brits, I was not in morning, I was really, really drunk and cursing the gods
