[Movie Discussion] Primer

anyone see Primer? it is being released to DVD next month and was made on a 7,000 dollar budget.

just wanted to see what people thought of it here, if anyone has seen it that is.
 
my quick take is i thought it was definately worth watching and i'll most likely purchase the DVD because i think Shane Carruth is pretty damn cool.
 
I saw it at a theater, I thought it was really good. You end up thinking about the movie for awhile after seeing it, it would be good to see it with somebody else so you can talk about it. There are parts that can be very confusing.
 
yea, i saw it 3 times now and after the second time it all comes into focus. the first time i felt like there was too much information. that is one reason i wouldn't put it up there with other sundance-favorite sci-fi flicks like Pi.

i do think though that it was one of the best films i've seen in recent history. especially for the dirt-cheap budget it was produced on.
