mIRC question about downloads

If I wanted to leave my computer run all night sometime because of a damn long queue, and I set it up to automatically accept files so I could actually get some sleep, should I still be worried about "bad files"? Is there any reason to think that bad shit would actually happen without me having to click on the files? If anyone tried to slip me bullshit, I should be safe just deleting unexpected files, right? While waiting in a queue tonight, some "kelly" tried to convince me I needed some 88kb exe that I promptly denied. Last thing I need is shit like that, ya know?

if you do find any random .exe's in your download folder, be sure and run them.

Especially if they are "Osama suicide.jpg.exe", they are really jpg's and someone is trying to trick you into thinking they are .exe's, don't fall for it!

Just click on random .exe files in your download folder. You'll find the one you want eventually.

And ffs, its accept files from trusted users only.

There's an option in newer versions to ignore only certain file types...could change to that or just do what DD said
