I want the old scanner (not talkin probes) and map back :(


Also I couldn't use the damn market last night in some regions. Would just lock up and then dc me from the server saying "transport exploded". :\
 
They finally gave us the ability to remove neutrals from the overview.

But if I remove neutrals from overview, it also removes war targets.

And rats.

Oops.
 
Actually it's more of the fact you can't scan roids/rats. I've adjusted to just use the camera and guestimate my angle when scanning people out at belts.
Yea, I did some scanning last night, looking for a god damn POS in a system with like 100 moons.

It's easiest now to line up your scans with the camera. Although, I did this before, because shit would always fuck me up if it was off the Z plane.
 
I've never used to the mini map to scan belts. I just used my ship as a reference. Scanned from the back, then one side, then the front, then the other side.
 
welp, gate queues are back in full force and appear to be working as they originally intended: to screw up moving anything more than 10 people around.

Also digging the massive lag induced by the new fleet system.
 
It's mostly for gang bonus distribution. So you can no longer have 1 gang of unlimited size getting max gang bonuses from a handful of people. You have squads then wings then a fleet. Depending on your level of leadership skills your bonuses are applied across different ships. There's some really wierd lag with it. You're fine in your squad of like 50, but then create a fleet and bam massive lag.
 
Personally I'm waiting for better drone controls. Using laggy rclick menu is always a bitch.

Also there should be an option about removing non-assigned wrecks from overview (Not from screen tho). Arrrrgh. Having to shoot wrecks blows. Also generates tons more fps lag.
