I just needed some ideas on travel itinerary from those who have gone to Japan. I will be landing in Tokyo on September 28th at 5:00 pm, and leaving from the same airport at 3:15 pm on October 5th. I was wondering what I have time for, and budget places to stay. Thanks.
 
You could spend all that time in Tokyo easily....its an awesome place. I'd probably recommend doing toyko for a few days, then get the train to Kyoto for a few days. So much to see in those two cities that you wont get bored. If you want to fit another day in there do a day trip to Nara from Kyoto.
