So I haven't used iTunes in forever, so finally got around to installing it for various reasons.

The issue I have is that some albums are split up. The album songs are all located in the same folder on the hard drive, and all the information is the same. However random tracks are separate, and I can't seem to figure out wtf is going on.

Is there something I should be looking at?
 
probably minor differences in id3 tag info

select both albums in iTunes and change the album info for all the tracks at once (it'll warn you that you're editing multiple songs) and they should end up together afterwards

TD - I dont feel like fighting with WMP to get my iPod to sync properly, easy access to podcasts, and my girlfriend is technologically retarded.
 
Groove is a genius, thanks man. I tried to do it individually before, didn't realize you could select multiple songs at the same time. w00t w00t
 
no worries - i went through pretty much the same thing recently so it was still fresh in my mind
