I only have ~700meg available on my C:\ drive, and when I open the setup file and it extracts it tells me I have to free up more room. This is my OS partition, with only 3 gig on it. Is there ANY way to direct the temp file somewhere else???? I have been waiting so long and I just paid to get this and it would suck if I had to reformat or something.
 
No I think there might be a registry setting to change for the Installshield's default temp path. I'm not even installing yet, it's when it's extracting the package.
 
It's looking for free space on your TEMP drive so you could change the directory to another drive.
Right click My Computer (your's, not mine) -> Advanced -> Environment Variables

It should only matter what "User variable for <username>" TEMP setting you use. You can change the system variables and/or TMP value as well.
 
Lou, yeah just figured that out the hard way going through regedit :) Was just about to reccomend changing the folder through regedit but your way is easier. Thanks.
