US firm Microvision has developed a system that projects lasers onto the retina, allowing users to view images on top of their normal field of vision.

wow...i wouldnt be as impressed if honda wasnt ALREADY using this at some of their dealerships...so often we see awesome stuff that wont get into any practical use for years to come, this is already being used in some fashion at least

Yeah, usually that kind of stuff gets discovered, everyone goes YAY! and then it's locked in some file cabinet and everyone forgets about it.

The possibilities for this are enormous though.
