IE Question

got a prob guys :/

I'm currently accessing TW thru opening a desktop folder and just typing a URL...when I try to open IE it says "Failed to initialize: 000005x000" or something. Earlier today, my virus prog said it detected something during a live update--I quarantined--thought it was over with but guess it got my IE :(

Anyone know a quick fix for this? Thanks.
 
anyone got an estimate as to how many firefox advertisements there will be in this thread?

edit: have you tried running spybot/adaware/hijackthis/spysweeper/... ?

I know Firefox is neat and the trendy browser to use, but if I used it, I wouldn't be asking a question about IE, would I?

which is the fucking point. when you fix your shit, switch to mozilla/firebird and you wont have to make another one of these.

i was actually refering to the advertisements as annoying. it seems the second an ie problem is mentioned there are shitloads of people that are just foaming at the mouth to spread the word about firefox. worse than hardcore christians they are.
 
regardless if you use firefox, you still need IE sometimes. so saying "just use firefox" doesnt work.

try a quick reinstall of IE?

firefox has weird scrolling,

btw like someone posted before, ad-aware spysweeper hijack this and so on, worse comes to worse back up your porn and format

smooth scrolling? i noticed both firefox and ie have options to turn on/off smooth scrolling.. if thats the 'wierd' part?
