i think hdd is dying

i have a 1.5TB hdd, its going to run out of warranty soon so i want to try and solve this asap.

i had 5 drives in my pc

1 main drive
3 1TB drives in a raid 5
1 1.5 tb drive

i thought that maybe the OS drive was dying because the system would lag and sometimes i would hear a (tick) from my pc. not a click but, i would try and access some media, the drive would lag and tick.

well turns out that my 1.5 drive is probably going to die.. does this sound like normal operation? or should i get my data off this drive ASAP?

you should grab the diagnostic utility from your drive maker's website and see if it actually is operating normally. They're going to make you do it for warranty replacement anyway.

check eventvwr. easiest way to check disk problems. if you get disk/ntfs errors (usually indicating 'bad sectors') it needs to be replaced. this will also tell you what drive it is...
