what's going on with the asian scores on this graph, why did they rise so much when the others are fairly stable
i wonder if second/third gen immigrants do better and since browners are fairly new they're still on the rise. doesn't explain the hispanic numbers tho, plus relies on treating culture/language (non-innate traits) as a factor which undermines whatever racialist point is being made

That reminds me.
I come from a background of victimhood aka poor alcoholics with car parts on the lawn legit. I wasn't recommended for any of the ap classes or the two tier SAT prep courses my school had 1 for smart high performers 1 for "smart" low performers (would be me i thought). Later found out the second category was really to get athletes into college (inverse of the school demographics basically but yeah a few whiteys).
I got a 680 math/660 reading. forget percentiles. Remember my guidance counselor being very 'surprised' apparently it was top 5 in a class of 200 ehich i think speaks for my school and peers more so than my ability. Asked for a recommendation to go to the local state school and was candid with my circumstances as the volunteer firefighters with radios had heard the calls out to my address multiple times. Yeah didn't get it but the 20th percentiles did.
Later on in detention middle of the year a history teacher who was a former ranger happened across me and got me to test out two of his ap classes and also cursed at the administration for letting me fall through the cracks all that way to my senior year. He was the epitome of dgaf in a good way.
Schooling is fucked up and without having seen a couple examples of positive masculinity aka not vanster I would be completely fucked in life probably with my own car parts on the lawn. TO BE FAIR I keep my spare jeep parts inside of it not in front of it guess i i didn't fall too far from the tree

ever go to a college class where they are treated as some of the smartest people on campus?
that was the norm around my engineering areas
but the map says they are 80 IQ....... how can they be so smart?
well.......there is a billion of them and as you said the best ones run away from the place as fast as they can.
a net gain for the USA......a total loser for them

My Indian EM professor used to tell us how much different our education standards and system is. That her kids were doing closed integrals in Middle School to at least familiarize themselves with the concept. She asked her American class how many of them did that. ZERO hands were raised.
Most people said they didn't even know what that was in HS.

it is a bloodsport that makes TW look very tame and

if we were to look at them as a sub group I bet they are doing very well here just like Asians.......

yeah but indians are the most goddamn annoying, uncooperative, impossible to work with people on the planet. like indian indian, lived/live there, american ones are fine. not even fucking close to a good tradeoff for iq, i don't know how their country works but it's not suprising it's so broken. and yeah i would guess they have very large standard deviations because the population is so diverse, broken down by province some parts would probably look like africa and others like china.
anyway STILL doesn't explain why their scores are going up. the only feasible explanation i can imagine is the other groups are all actually going down but the test has been renormed to keep the average the same, so that asians (while performing the same) appear to have gotten better. but i somewhat doubt sat scores are trending down that far when iq scores are presently trending up

this is largely how i feel as well
my only analogy is that we are a collection tank
getting hot water from Asia
getting cold water from Mexico
and our education system is at best luke warm (which we shall call room temp)
so the results sort of make sense to me thinking of it in that regard.....

On a personal level I have never met a single Indian that impressed me at math or engineering. Despite the stereotypes or what the stats say.....
So what to believe........who knows
I'm trying to normalize and standardize the measurements. Get us back to the same page inside the same book. The rest of the world is trying to blend and burn my results/experiments. Vanster throwing Chilton's VW manuals at me.
