time to kick around another newb. Gunna make the shuttle trip to isinokka to sign up tomorrow.

:)

I dunno about the TribalWar corp, is it still going?

If I were you I would go south and join a corp called ACPR, when you have the skills to atleast fly cruiser, they'll help you out a bunch. When you got sufficient skills, 2-3mill sp, head down real south to ASCN and make some real isk and have some real fun.

:)

This game is one of the most intense games you'll ever play. If you just get passed the hurdle.

I lost over 30 million isk in modules on my ship because I was too fucking lazy to fit warp core stabs and grab instas.

You ever got told "Don't do this.. trust me I went through it before" and think, ah fuck it won't happen to me. Well.. I was that type of person, if you're stubborn you will never have fun. This game makes you live in Fear, and Fear is what keeps you alive.. no shit.

Uh yeah, that and FREEE as well. Doing great up North, it's a fine place to be right now.

PS I thought you were all over HUZZAH, in AscendAnt now?

EndR seems like a "flavour of the month" kinda guy.

Personally, I'll be in FREE Explorer until it gasps its last glorious breath.

vawlk you have a couple options here.

Most of the TW people that play this game are in TW corp and FREE Explorer. Almost all to all of us are PvPers. We want to spend most of our time going around killing shit and only make isk to replace ships that are lost. Many of us will even go out solo in search of action.

Really, if you want to kill shit but probably be poor most of the time, join TW corp and eventually FREE Explorer. If your goal is to make lots of isk and kill shit on occasion, then follow EndR's advice.

The beautiful part of this game is that you can choose whatever path you want.

although I wont disagree with vlasic, I will say that ASCN and AXE are both viable options if you want to pvp more. He is trying to compare his corp to alliances. ASCN is an alliance not a corp, and both CLS, and others there pvp a lot.

AXE has EOG and DDC in it, and EOG is more of an industrial corp, where DDC is pvp'ers. EOG though has a Navy now and is starting regular pvp ops. FREE would problably be a better start corp for you though, DDC and CLS have pilots that are in the 20+ million SP range and most likely wouldnt spend as much time in smaller gank groups that will show you the basics. They are more into fleet, and large scale battles or defending the home space.

I don't like ASCN because they were gate camping EC like 6 months ago and I had to haul shit around like 20 jumps to get to the empire.

Aye, I don't find large fleet combat to be very fun. I love the "Oh shit we're horribly outnumbered but somehow still killing shit" feeling. It's quite a rush =)

That is something I have yet to feel, and as time goes on who knows maybe when im ready to stop mining I will look into more of that part of the game. I followed a pretty simple rule when I started eve.

1) Try everything.

2) Dont get burned out.

Usual MMO's go like this for me: Grind grind grind grind grind to end game. Get bored.

So for this game I Started out doing missions, didnt find it "that" fun so I went to mining. Mining let me play the game, make money while still doing other things like my job (Game industry for the win). Now I am moving more into the industrial side of life, like building things, until my pvp skills are done training at which point I will move into a pvp lifestyle.

We will see the direction AXE goes from the time I finish training all my pvp skills from now and if they do not start having a lot of smaller skirmish groups going out and looking for trouble I might look into something else but we will see they are good to me and everyone in this corp / alliance help which I like a lot.

I don't know how I want to play yet. So far I like the missions where I get to attack stuff. I don't mind dying, already happened once. I'm just out to have some fun whilst I wait for another decent MMO to come around.

Honestly I am in ASCN because I don't have to worry about being ganked in such big space.

I will help out the war effort to defend our home and help out if needed, however, right now I am just tagging some angels and getting domination spawns.

I left Huzzah because I hated sansha and didn't like being only 8 jumps off empire.

If you dont like your current corp/alliance you can always leave for another. Just make sure your stuff is moved (if in 0.0) before you announce your intentions
