i had gone out a couple days ago and, for the first time, had pan seared yellowfin. i thought it was super delicious and decided to try to make it myself.
the recipe i used is as follows, i didnt measure anything so it's just kind of ballparking it.
1 tsp each sesame oil/soy sauce
1 clove garlic, chopped
splash of tabasco
splash of lemon juice
first i washed and pat the steak dry, combined all the ingredients and rubbed them into the steak, and covered it tightly with plastic wrap, and left it in the fridge for 1 hour
i preheated the stove to medium/high and cooked for 1 minute 30 on each side.
i have a shitty picture from my isight, but it doesn't really do it justice. it was really, really good. the end.
