[HELP] Question about importing sounds

Say I want to replace a weapon sound in TV_weapons.pkg
Open up TVed, open up TV_weapons.pkg, and import the files I need.

I need to know, what are the details of the imported file I need. I imported some the other day but they did not play in game. Do they have to be .ogg files, do they have to be a certain bitrate? Please reply.
 
Dont import into TV_weapons... never ever ever modify a package that comes with the game...

As for bitrate and such.. 44/16 or 22/16 should be fine, if i recall
