Gin and Tonic

What do you prefer in your G&T?

Tanqueray? Beefeater? Bombay?

What about your tonic? Do you spring for the Schweppe's expensive ass tonic or do you buy the cheap shit?

Personally I went with the Tanqueray and cheapshit Stater Brothers Tonic. Fucking delicious.

I don't drink them very often. But, I usually go local. Dry Fly and Cascade Mountain Gin are pretty tasty.

If I can't get local, I go with Hendrick's. Absolutely no pine needle taste, and it goes down smooth.

Schweppes if I am making it at home, otherwise whatever the bar is using.
 
I've had a hard time drinking vodka lately. I like being able to taste my booze.

I honestly think Sapphire might be too expensive. It's like the Patron of Gin
 
Tanqueray, Beefeater, Bombay, are all pretty nasty, IMO. Bombay Sapphire is popular, but tastes like shit compared to a good gin.

Where do you live? You can usually find a local distillery that is much cheaper than popular brands, and taste way better.
 
Yeah I didnt wanna try the Rangpur but i'll get it next time.

And no I don't know of local gin distilleries.

Just go into the liquor store and ask the guy if they have any local gin. Pretty simple.
 
i use it for my gin and tonic, and dont have to worry about a lime :) but lately ive been drinking saphire with squeezed lime and fresh pineapple juice
