fuck this snow

Just got back from a road trip to Banner Elk NC. Saw an inch of show (shower passed through). They make it on Sugar and Beech mountain. Dog got to see snow and I skied at Sugar. Otherwise I would never live in the snow unless there was a ski resort near by. A few pictures at Sugar and Beech.

here in switzerland you see trucks all day and all night cleaning every street and every highway. it's fucking madness... I can't even imagine the amount of cash the government here spends with it.

people come to blows when someone jumps in spot shoveled by someone else too. Our roads are pretty constricted, but we all have driveways so not too big a deal once shoveled out. I was done about 5pm digging out. now it is just keeping up with the drifts from the wind off the ocean. Cold as fuck this morning.

Yep, 82 today in Plantation, then down to 42 on Friday. One day we're running the AC, the next day the heater.

I would go fucking bonkers if I had a car in that situation.

here in Patheticut we don't have it nearly as bad. it's just been cold as fuck so our snow hasn't melted. for whatever reason, we've been getting storms on Mondays and Tuesdays. I haven't worked a Monday in over a month because of school closings and/or natl. holidays due to having to be home with my kids.

We're getting a bunch of rain today from this system. High is 75, so I'm like LOL whatevs.
