I'm looking to sell my PowerMac G5 now that I just bought a Macbook Pro... very light use since I use my PC almost exclusively. I only ever need it for Final Cut and Shake and used it pretty much only to edit an indie feature I completed in 2005
It's "Education Edition", meaning it only has 2 DIMM slots per core for 4 Slots total, instead of 4 slots (for 8 total) you'll find on most of these guys; which doesn't make a difference anymore because of how large RAM is these days... in fact when I got the system I was unaware of this, but it never turned out to be a problem since more than 4GB of RAM is complete overkill.
Right now the system has 1 GB of RAM in it with one 80 gig system drive and one 200 gig SATA Seagate Drive (8 MB Cache). I'll throw in the Seagate Drive if completely necessary but chances are people I'm assuming would rather throw something slightly larger in there.
On Craigslist they seem to go for about a grand, and on eBay they sell for 1000-1200.
I'm looking to sell it for about $850 around...
