Watching the re-release of Nightmare on Elm Street on AMC right bout noa and it turns out Freddy was a kiddy toucher. WTF. That ruins the whole fucking film for me. Dude is supposed to just be a ruthless killer, not a fucking diddler.

Originally he was taking revenge because the parents burnt him alive after he got away with murdering 20 kids...

Haven't watched the re-release... but he was actually meant to be a pedorass... Craven wanted that arc for the character...
