[Flash Player] Annoying Problem

Everytime i try and install the flashplayer plugin in opera or firefox it doesn't work. I unistalled old versions and everything.

I'll think it will work but then i go to watch a youtube video and the video doesn't play. Why is that?

It's not that i can't watch any videos. I can watch about half.

But if i want to watch a video from liek the official nhl channel, it would never work. The video would just be a big black box with no play button or anything

any kind of malware/spyware stuff running? modified hosts file?

i dont norton running but that never affected it before. once it asked me to upgrade to flashplayer 10 is when it started to get fucked up.
